Dirty Cab Floors
OK, you've been driving your truck for a long time now, and you've got that boot groove worn into the floor of your truck? You know, that indent in your floor where your boot has been resting the last 200,000 to 900,000 miles? Well the best way to clean it up without replacing the whole floor mat is to put a quality floor mat in your truck.
You say "Hey I don't know what your talking about, my 2009 truck doesn't have any wear in the floor mat", just wait.
The best way to avoid this is with a quality floor mat. It not only helps keep your floor clean, in good weather and bad, it can also prevent that boot groove.
For Volvo trucks there are three different options for floor mat replacement
The Belmore Catch All Floor System (aka the big classy floor mat)
Quality fabric floor mat
High usage rubber floor mat
Whatever you pick, remember "If it don't shine, it ain't mine"

Keeping a car clean on both the inside and the outside is important. Replacing floor mats, just as you said, is a good idea.
